Load Day Fail.
Now that I have mixed my HCG yesterday, today is Load Day!
What is Load Day? Load day takes place on the first two days that you take your
injections. It is basically a two-day period where you gorge on fatty food.
Think fatty foods, creams and sauces, more so than cakes and cookies although
they can’t hurt. Nothing is better than a fat, juicy, greasy burger on load
day. The idea is to build up your fat stores to prepare your body for the
decrease in calorie intake. It is very important to load up on fatty foods on
your load day, it may help keep you from being hungry the next few days that
follow. During your load days you will gain several pounds, don’t become
alarmed, they will fall back off in the following days when you switch to your
very low calorie intake. I like to use my load days as an opportunity to enjoy
some of my favorite foods that I will not get to enjoy while dieting. Load Day
is also a great time to go grocery shopping to get the foods that you may eat on
the HCG Diet.
After loading for two days I found that I had lost weight
instead of gaining it. After pondering what I had done wrong, I realized that I
had just not eaten enough. I decided to reload, this time I gained three pounds.
